To make a board that only shows issues you want included, you can create an board issue filter based on a JQL query. For example, you may create a board that includes issues from multiple projects, one project, or from a particular component of a project. Learn more about issue filters. It isn't possible to edit the view of issues within an epic (add/remove columns), but you can always (1) search for the issues associated with an epic, then (2) edit the columns in your search results to show "Sprint". vildana_ermaya Nov 18, 2020. Thanks @Dave Liao for your feedback and help!
Epic Status is not a real issue field, it is derived from the status of the Epic the story is linked to. You can't set it for any given issue because the issue is looking to its Epic, not data on the issue. On top of that, it's not a real custom field on the Epic either, again, it's derived from the actual status of the Epic. 1 answer. Have you tried ordering issues in epic directly? I see that the feature has been introduced on June 21. hi, this is possible, but not in the roadmap view. i want so order the issues by default under rpics on the left side (not on the right dialog) Step 1: Select all the Issues you wish to Move - you can "select all" using the checkbox in the title row. Step 2: Select Move Issues. Step 3: Select the destination Project and Issue Types for each option. 3. The newly converted Story will disappear from the story map as it is not currently linked to an Epic. You can re-add it to the story map by clicking the "Add Existing Issue" link under the Epic you wish to link it to. 4. In order to delete an Epic you must enter the Epic's settings page and select the delete option.
This time select Extend. In the “Extend with…” menu, select Stories under Epics. The Extend generator gives you the option to “Allow changes via Structure.” When selected, moving a story from one epic to another within Structure will also move the story within Jira. This option is selected by default. Click Apply.
Epics set to a release to define the larger project. Stories within the Epic to parse out the work to various Component teams. Our challenge is that we want to designate a global ranking for Epics within a Release and then have all of their child stories be organized on all of the various teams' boards in the order of the Epic global ranking. The first way to update issue rank: Navigate to the Bulk actions menu > Rank. Choose the new rank for the selected issues from the following options: Top of plan - rank issues as highest priority and move to the top of the plan. Bottom of plan - rank issues as lowest priority and move to the bottom of the plan\.
